Your Kind of Escape in Belize
Belize puts the reef, the jungle, and the cayes in one small country. I plan and book the trip from Ottawa for travellers across Canada. I have stayed in Placencia, mixed slow beach days with inland time, and learned how much the transfers matter.
Our first trip was April 2024. In March 2026 we went back and got married in Placencia. A good week is usually more than one hotel: how you leave the airport, whether a jungle lodge belongs in the middle, and how many bases you can manage without spending the holiday packing.
