Your Kind of Escape in Jamaica
Jamaica is big enough that where you stay changes the whole trip. Negril’s long beach and cliff sunsets, the resort coast around Montego Bay and Ocho Rios, and quieter, greener Port Antonio are different weeks.
I plan and book these trips for travellers across Canada, all-inclusive or not, starting with the right stretch of coast. I’m writing from checked destination information, not a personal trip report.

A few highlights

A long beach on the west
Seven Mile Beach is long and calm, and the West End cliffs are known for sunsets. Negril is about 90 minutes by road from Montego Bay. Negril

Waterfalls, and a greener coast
Ocho Rios sits closer to Dunn’s River Falls and the interior. Farther east, Port Antonio is quieter and greener. The north and northeast
Montego Bay is the short transfer from the airport. Kingston, the Blue Mountains and the south coast are the other ways to shape the trip. See the places
