Barbados Trip Ideas & Inspiration
These are ways to shape a trip, not fixed packages. Because the island is small, one base usually works and the rest becomes day trips. Tell me how you like to travel and I’ll adjust the days.
Ways to spend the time
- 7 nights: One coast, plenty of variety — West for calm water and quieter evenings, south for restaurants and energy — then a rum tour, a catamaran or turtle snorkel, and a drive up the east coast.
- 10 nights: West and south — A split stay works if you want both moods, though many travellers stay put and use taxis or drivers for day trips.
- Two islands: Barbados and Saint Lucia — Regional flights connect the two in under an hour, which makes a two-island trip possible. With a week, I’ll be honest if one island is the better plan. Saint Lucia planning
