Yes — but it shouldn’t do it alone. AI is a useful tool for inspiration, packing lists, and early ideas, but details can be outdated or wrong. A travel advisor can check the facts, ask the follow-up questions, and help turn those ideas into a trip that actually fits you.

And honestly? I use it too. A lot of us do.

AI might suggest a restaurant that has closed, overlook an important entry requirement, recommend an unrealistic travel time, or create an itinerary that looks wonderful on screen but would leave you sprinting between attractions in real life. It can also present outdated information very confidently—which is a charming little habit of AI.
It's also important to protect your personal information. Never enter sensitive details, such as passport numbers or payment information, into a public AI tool.
AI doesn't always understand the little details that make a trip right for you, either.
Two people can ask for a relaxing Caribbean vacation and mean entirely different things. One might picture a quiet boutique hotel, local restaurants, and an empty stretch of beach. The other might want a lively, all-inclusive resort with nightly entertainment and every imaginable activity.
