Solo Travel, Planned With Care
Travelling on your own is one of the most freeing ways to see somewhere. It also helps to have the arrival, the first night and the trickier connections sorted before you go.
I travel solo too. Paris was never on my list until I went on my own, and my last couple of solo trips have been there.
Places that suit this kind of trip
- France — Paris neighbourhoods on foot, and a fast train to Strasbourg for a slower second chapter.
- Caye Caulker, Belize — Compact and easy to navigate on your own: independence without feeling isolated.
- Ireland — Coast, music and a city you can walk, with Dublin as an easy first base.
- The United Kingdom — London, Edinburgh and Glasgow linked by train.
