Aruba Trip Ideas & Inspiration
These are ways to shape the time, not packages. Aruba is small enough that one hotel can be the whole trip.
Ways to spend the time
- 5 to 7 nights: A west-coast beach week — Stay on Palm Beach or Eagle Beach. Swim, take one afternoon in Oranjestad, and leave a day for the north or Arikok if you want it. You do not need to change hotels.
- 7 nights: The same base, with a car — Add a rental car for the park, the California Lighthouse, San Nicolas and a fish dinner in Savaneta. Main roads are simple. A regular car is enough until you turn into Arikok.
- January to March: A Carnival week — Carnival builds through the weeks before Lent, with the big parades in Oranjestad. It is a livelier, busier trip. Book earlier, and keep an eye on your belongings in the crowds.
